Coal Testing

NATIONAL BUILDING MATERIAL LAB (NBML) is one of the leading Analytical testing Laboratory carrying out inspection, sampling, Analysis of coal from various ports in Raipur (C.G) & all over India .we can handle all coal sampling and analysis requirements from on site sampling of plants as well as lab testing . third -party sampling & testing. Coal is the most important and abundant fossil fuel in India. It is a combustible, sedimentary, organic rock, which is composed mainly of carbon, hydrogen and oxygen It accounts for 55% of the country's energy need. The country's industrial heritage was built upon indigenous coal. It is formed from vegetation, which has been consolidated between rock strata and altered by the combined effects of pressure and heat over millions of years to form coal seams. The build-up of silt and other sediments, together with movements in the earth's crust (known as tectonic movements) buried these swamps and peat bogs, often to great depths causing the plant material to be subjected to high temperatures and pressures. Millions of year of deep burial engendered such physical and chemical changes which transformed the vegetation into peat and then into coal. The quality of each coal deposit is determined by temperature and pressure and by the length of time in formation, which is referred to as its 'organic maturity'. Initially the peat is converted into lignite or 'brown coal' - these are coal types with low organic maturity. Coal Quality Grade increase from Peat to Lignite Sub Bituminous to Bituminous at last Anthracite coal. Coal is vital for sustainable development. It is the most widely used energy source for electricity generation and an essential input for steel production. Coal is an essential resource for meeting the challenges facing the modern world. In India, coal accounts for around 55% of the country's primary commercial energy.
Commercial primary energy consumption in India has grown by about 700% in the last four decades. Nearly 72% of the entire power generated in the country is coal based about 89% coal got dispatched to the Power Sector. In addition, other industries like cement, fertilizer, chemical, paper and thousands of medium and small-scale industries are dependent on coal for their process and energy requirements. To Provide Quality Grade coal to Our Client Related From Various industries Our Laboratory Set up Coal Testing Lab To provide Proximate analysis and GCV Value Which Decide the Quality of coal. Testing Lab Provide Sampling and quality Testing of Coal. All testing done under the NABL Scope.
